Agisko achieves two Rubrik Black Belt Certificates

We're proud to share that CTO Stijn Maes and Solutions Architect Timothy de Wolf have earned the Rubrik Black Belt. That's the highest technical tier in Rubrik's Partner Tech Champions Program.

Not a slide-deck certification

The Black Belt Challenge is not like any other standard certification exam. Candidates face a panel of Rubrik experts and are asked to size and defend a real-world cyber resilience architecture. In practice, that means working out exactly what a customer's environment would need:

  • Capacity
  • Recovery speed
  • How the system performs under pressure

Following this, candidates must justify each of these choices with experts questioning and challenging their decisions. For candidates, that means no multiple choice or room to hide behind theory.

As part of the achievement, Stijn and Timothy earned Rubrik Resilience Architect certifications. They cover Identity, Enterprise Data, Cloud Data, and SaaS Data.

From "protect the data" to "prove you can recover"

Over the years, customer conversations have changed. What matters is not just protecting data, but proving you can detect, contain, and recover when it matters most.

Rubrik has become central to how Agisko talks to customers about secure, modern backup and recovery. And this recognition validates that we can deliver on exactly that promise.

A small, elite group

Achieving these two Rubrik Black Belts now places Agisko among a small group of partners worldwide that hold this credential. The journey to Black Belt represents weeks of preparation that ultimately comes together in an intense two-day panel exam.

Committed to strengthening our expertise

This milestone reflects our ongoing investment in technical depth and close collaboration with Rubrik's field and partner engineering teams.

Looking ahead, Stijn and Timothy will keep working with their Rubrik Senseis on key customer accounts. They will use their expertise to shape architectures and also stay active in the Black Belt community by mentoring future candidates.
